Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Sensei Elite is an AI-powered Lean Six Sigma coaching product operated by ConsusOne LLC ("we," "us," "Provider"). Contact: Mike Higgins, mike.higgins@consusone.com. This policy covers our marketing site (lsssensei.com) and our application (app.lsssensei.com).

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account data — email address and password (for email/password accounts), or Google account information (if you sign in with Google)
• Project data — project names, methodology selection, phase progress
• AI Input — chat messages, project context, and questions you submit to the AI
• Saved artifacts — Charter, SIPOC, VOC, FMEA, and other tools you create
• Payment data — subscription status and billing history (full card details are stored by Stripe, never by us)
• Coaching requests — when you book a live coaching session, the project artifacts you choose to include and your contact details (see Section 6)
• Contact submissions — information you send via our contact form or by email

Information collected automatically

• Usage metadata — login times, feature usage, and browser information
• Analytics & cookies (marketing site, lsssensei.com) — we use Google Analytics (GA4) and Vercel Analytics to understand site traffic and improve the site (see Section 7)

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the Sensei Elite coaching service
• Process AI Input through the Google Gemini API (via our secure server-side proxy) to generate AI Output
• Facilitate live coaching sessions with human coaches you engage (see Section 6)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions (via Stripe)
• Send transactional communications (via Resend)
• Improve the product and coaching quality, which may include review of project content and AI interactions by authorized personnel (see Section 5)
• Debug technical issues and maintain security

4. Third-Party Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We share data only as needed with vetted providers:

5. AI Data Processing & Quality Review

When you submit AI Input:

• It is sent to Google Gemini AI (via our secure server-side proxy) for processing
• Google processes requests ephemerally (no long-term storage) and does not train its models on your data per its API terms
• Your AI Input and AI Output are not shared with other users
• We do not use your Project Data or AI Input to train or fine-tune models for other subscribers
• To improve coaching quality, troubleshoot issues, and provide support, authorized ConsusOne personnel may review project content and AI interactions. We limit this access to personnel who need it and treat your content as confidential.

6. Human Coaching Sessions

If you book a live coaching session (included with certain plans or purchased as an add-on), the project artifacts you choose to include — along with your name, project name, and email — are shared with the assigned Lean Six Sigma coach so they can prepare for and conduct your session. Coaches may be ConsusOne personnel or independent contractors engaged by ConsusOne, and are bound by confidentiality obligations. This sharing happens only when you initiate a coaching request.

7. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site function and for analytics on lsssensei.com. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect functionality. The site does not currently display a cookie-consent banner — generally acceptable for a US-based business, but a recommended later add if you expect significant EU/UK or California traffic.

8. Data Storage, Security & Location

• Storage: Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud Platform, United States)
• Encryption: HTTPS in transit; Google-managed encryption at rest
• Access: you, authorized ConsusOne personnel, and — for coaching you book — your assigned coach
• Isolation: your data is isolated from other users via Firebase Security Rules
• Payments: card data handled exclusively by Stripe

9. Data Retention

• Active accounts: retained as long as your account exists
• Cancelled accounts: project data preserved for ninety (90) days, then may be deleted
• Projects: you can delete individual projects at any time
• Account deletion: email mike.higgins@consusone.com or use lsssensei.com/contact

10. Your Privacy Rights

You may request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data by emailing mike.higgins@consusone.com (allow 5–7 business days). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the GDPR — including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

If we become aware of unauthorized access to your data, we will notify you by email within 72 hours, describe what was affected, explain remediation steps, and provide guidance on protective actions.

13. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. For material changes we will provide email notice at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
